My business was closed
I closed my business last August 15th. I tried to inform you by phone about 3 times, but it seems that the monthly fee is still taking up.

Went to my bank and blocked the payment. I get letters from them now saying they will give the account to a collection attorney.
I've had others tell me they are crooks. All equipment was returned to them two years ago.
Received equipment, something was wrong with it, so we received another shipment. After the first billing from this company, the prices were way higher than explained to us, we cancelled and return ALL the equipment, along with a letter of cancellation. We have been paying $125.19 a month for 24 months (3,000 dollars) and were told we'd have to pay for another two years.
We are actively trying to discontinue this leasing scam, and will report to all available services. Any advise is accepted.

Equipment does not work
We are canceling our service!
Our merchant card processor machines have been Obsolete and down now for over 2 months plus, we had contacted first date global leasing now over a dozen times total to report our machines were down do to our area no longer supports 3G phone service so the machines will not work in our area anymore.
Everything in our area is now 4G.
It took over a month to finally get ahold of somebody that could actually help us and get the machines out and mailed to us after many unsuccessful frustrating calls.
Finally after receiving our merchant card reading machine over a month later we were on the phone with Customer service trying to get our merchant card machines up and running with no prevail, nobody new anything or even why they didnt work.
Finally you had a service representative with enough Knowledge to tell us the reason they dont work is due to there are no sims cards, THEY NEED SIM CARDS! Why dont you put your reps thru better and more extensive training, so they can better handle customer service and to understand their job and handle issues like this.
So the representative said on 3 different occasions the sims cards were in the mail.
Well guess what? We still havent received them yet!
We were counting on you for our merchant credit cards machines to be up and running so we can run our business.
We have 2 credit card machines down with only 1 out of 3 of them that work.
The one machine we have still running is our clover machine, our other 2 fd410 are Obsolete and 3G.
How do we run a business if you cant support us with machines that work And representatives that can help us.
We are paying you $319 a month to lease machines that we dont even have up and running and we are not able to process credit card runs for our business.
Many of our calls to First Data Leasing have been reported as being on a recorded line if you have any questions on our poor customer service please resort back to the recordings to help better serve your customers.
We have made numerous threats that we are going to cancel service and close our business account And terminate doing business with first data global leasing.
Resort back to your customer support recordings, And youll understand why we are so frustrated.
This is to let you know that we are terminating business relations with First Data Global leasing, if need be we will get an attorney involved we have lost many sales.
Please terminate service!
We have signed up with another merchant that can better serve us.
We also have Attached a prior letter for a prior complaint with pay partners.
We are returning five devices With pictures and ID number of all devices.

Preferred solution: Ok take my name and my business from your services asap, don’t wanna work with you. Why you are billing me money for services I didn’t use ! The clovers pos put it on my restaurant for Lea than a week before I closed it.

Bad service - Untrained tech support
Lied to about when new machine was being sent. Didn't know their *** from *** in the ground.
Then tried to settle a phone authorization that should have been a standard procedure took over 35 minutes. The guy had no idea

Hidden fees, really poor customer service, told one thing, they do another. Denied receiving equipment even though it was signed for to the tune of being charged over $1700 which in the end they paid back in dribs and drabs when they finally conceded to the fact it WAS returned. Initial person will sell you the world only to find out you've entered into the depths of ***

I updated my credit card processing terms through my bank representative who contacted me and told me she could bring my cost down. At that time I told her I only had two years left on my lease and did not want to sign any contract that I could not terminate at any time.
She assured me I could end my contract and it would not be an issue. I ended my relationship with Worldpay in October as I am no longer in business, was instructed to return the equipment to First Data which I did and they received. First Data continued to bill me and deduct the amount from my checking so I closed my account. They now are sending me bills with additional fees and state although I have returned the equipment I still need to pay the remainder of the leased period of two more years in the mount of $400plus.
They cannot provide a contract to me and are very rude. I have filed a complaint with the NYS attorney generals office, and am trying to be part of any and all class action law suits against them. When I have time I am going to contact my senator and congressmen. The deceptive, price gouging, underhanded way they do business is wrong on so many levels.
Taking advantage of business in this manner is corrupt and First Data needs to be held accountable and be forced to end such practices. How is this not illegal????

Just don't- once they got bought out by FISERV (a predatory loan company) they constantly harass me for loans. I can borrow from a bank at a decent rate- they will try to trick you into borrowing at extremely high interest rates because it's "easy" to pay back - they directly take your sales over a length of time.
The numbers DO NOT ADD UP. I would NOT trust them. They're also near impossible to get any service out of- my rep disappeared 3 years ago and I haven't had any rep since. I want to get my online statements- 3 YEARS and no answer how.
Only really rude people demanding information from ME (I don't know what these other products they're even talking about are) and refuse to help me.
Moving entirely to Moneris as a result. Better rates and my online system was set up on day 1.

Force lease for 4 years
I am a small business owner and a representative came to offer me the first Data service to process payments, but he never explained to me that it was a 4-year contract and that I could not cancel until that term ended.
At that time I had another bank to process payments, and he assured me that I could cancel without any problem and that he would save me money because they work directly with visa and MasterCard.
First Data continued making the deductions of my bank account and now the 4 years have passed, and they still continue to charge me because I have automatic payment and I called to cancel, and they return my money and says they have to verify that the machine returns and that is what I did 10 months ago.
They offer you the service in a deceptive way and since they can force you to a 4-year contract without being able to cancel, this is something fraudulent, something has to be done to stop these abuses.
Taking advantage of business in this manner is corrupt and First Data needs to be held accountable and be forced to end such practices. How is this not illegal????

I finally went to my bank and had their monthly charge blocked from being paid. Now getting letters from them threatening to give the account to a collection attorney.
For what? I returned the equipment and will not pay for equipment leasing.
